Forster Weg/Am Römerhof: Traffic rerouting starting November 9
Starting Monday, November 9, a revised traffic route will be in effect on Forster Weg between Branderhofer Weg and the street In den Zwanzigmorgen. Vehicles will once again be able to pass each other in both directions on this short stretch. This means the parking lot at the corner of Forster Weg and Branderhofer Weg will remain accessible from both directions.
The reason for the change is a construction project on Am Römerhof. Starting November 9, the roadway between In den Zwanzigmorgen and a side street on Am Römerhof (house numbers 3 through 19) will be closed to through traffic for about five weeks. Pedestrians will be routed past the construction site via the sidewalk. The construction work involves connecting the new residential buildings near the Branderhof estate to the existing sewer system.
Residents along the affected section of Am Römerhof will be notified in a separate letter.
