On-Site Interview: Mayor Invites Residents to Eilendorf
What matters most to the people of Eilendorf? What issues concern them in their neighborhood, and what suggestions would they like to share with city officials? Mayor Dr. Michael Ziemons would like to discuss these topics directly with the residents of Aachen. On Tuesday, November 10, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., he invites residents to a community dialogue at the Eilendorf District Office.
Through this dialogue format, the mayor aims to strengthen direct contact with residents in the city’s districts. The focus is on their questions, ideas, and concerns. Especially in the outlying districts, face-to-face conversations offer the opportunity to address issues directly on the ground and learn about different perspectives.
Whether the topic is developments in Eilendorf, community life in the neighborhood, or citywide issues, anyone interested is invited to raise their concerns and share their own suggestions. This dialogue provides a casual setting to ask questions, offer ideas, and engage in conversation with the mayor.
“A city thrives when people can share their experiences and ideas. That’s why I want to find out as directly as possible what matters to the people of Aachen and where they see a need for action. The citizen dialogue in Eilendorf is a great opportunity to listen, take questions, and work together to address local issues,” says Ziemons.
