During the summer months, Haus der Neugier GmbH offers guided tours of the Haus der Neugier every first Monday or Thursday of the month. It is still difficult to imagine what the finished building will look like. Nevertheless, the gutted building of the former Lust for Life is well worth seeing.

The dimensions of the interior, which are particularly easy to grasp when empty, are surprising and impressive. The new view across all levels is also remarkable. Once you have climbed to the fourth floor, you will be rewarded with a completely new view of the cathedral and town hall. In a few years, a café with an outdoor terrace will invite you to enjoy this view. Until then, the Haus der Neugier team will be happy to explain the plans for the future Haus der Neugier to anyone who is interested.

Thursday, June 11, 6:00 p.m.;

Registrations will be considered in the order in which they are received.

People taking part in a guided tour should be able to walk safely. There is no barrier-free access to the upper floors. A maximum of 15 people can take part in the 45-minute tour. The meeting point is at the Bädersteig entrance under the large yellow banner.

By the way, the first ten winners of the “Bist du deine Neugier” window display contest have just been drawn. The next round of the contest has begun. Participants are searching for a hidden transmitter behind the “Bist du deine Neugier” sign. Prizes include annual memberships to the city library, “Six for Six” museum cards for Aachen’s museums, gift certificates, and products from local businesses around the Hotmannspief and Dahmengraben.
