Open exchange in Kornelimünster/Walheim: Lord Mayor Dr. Michael Ziemons invites citizens to a dialogue
Lord Mayor Dr. Michael Ziemons is continuing his dialogue tour through the city's districts and is inviting citizens to a dialogue in Kornelimünster/Walheim on Tuesday, 19 May. From 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m., citizens will have the opportunity to talk to the Lord Mayor in person and put forward their questions, concerns and suggestions.
With the Citizens' Dialogue, Dr. Michael Ziemons continues to pursue the goal of creating an open, low-threshold and citizen-oriented direct exchange with the people of Aachen. The focus is also deliberately on the outlying districts. The local events create short distances and enable personal discussions in familiar surroundings.
"The direct exchange with people in the districts is particularly important to me. Conversations about issues that directly affect the everyday lives of citizens arise on the ground. Taking these perspectives on board is a central part of my work," says Dr. Michael Ziemons.
Whether topics from the district, questions about urban development or personal concerns - all interested parties are invited to take part in the exchange. The Citizens' Dialogue complements the Mayor's other dialog offerings, including citizen consultation hours in the town hall, café consultation hours and pub consultation hours in the city area.
The event will not take place at the district office, but at Inda High School.
Registration is not required.
