Local politics in the week from May 11 to 17
The next municipal policy week is shortened due to Ascension Day. Therefore, only two meetings are scheduled.
Tuesday, May
12: The Nature Conservation Advisory Board will meet at 5:00 p.m. in the Campus meeting room in the administration building on Maria-Theresia-Allee. The Advisory Board will hear an activity report on rangers in the Aachen Forest and discuss measures to address the Asian hornet. In addition, the city council will appoint a knowledgeable resident and a representative as advisory members of the Committee on Environment and Climate Protection through the Nature Conservation Advisory Board.
Wednesday, May
13: The Aachen-Eilendorf District Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the council chamber of the district office on Heinrich-Thomas-Platz. Three of the topics on the agenda include: the permanent designation of a school zone on Brühlstraße near the Brühlstraße Community Elementary School, an energy-efficiency renovation of the Aachen-Eilendorf fire station, and the allocation of district funds.
