Bachstraße: City has a crossing aid built
The city is building a crossing aid in Bachstraße between Kurbrunnenstraße and Warmweiherstraße at the entrance to Viktoriaschule. The construction work will begin on Monday, March 23 and is expected to last three weeks. The crossing aid is intended to slow down the speed of motor vehicles. Pedestrians should be able to cross Bachstraße more safely than before. The crossing aid is designed to make the road significantly narrower.
Bachstraße will be completely closed to through traffic by car or truck at the construction site. Motor vehicle traffic will be diverted via Normaluhr and the tunnel on Moltkestrasse. The footpaths can still be used and cyclists can also get past the roadworks.
House entrances, driveways and garages on Bachstraße can be reached at any time from Kurbrunnenstraße or Warmweiherstraße. This also applies to the Viktoriaschule school parking lots.
