Fire: Skate Park to Be Redesigned
Starting in late July, renovation work will begin on the skate park located at the playground and soccer field on Schagenstraße in the Brander Feld residential area. For safety reasons, the path connecting the Brander Wall greenbelt and Schagenstraße will be closed during construction, likely until the end of October 2026.
The basketball court and soccer field at the Schagenstraße playground will also be unavailable during construction. The playground there can still be used via a second entrance.
The existing, outdated skate pool will be demolished and completely replaced by a multifunctional skate park. In addition, new seating and recreational areas will be created, and bike racks will be installed.
