During summer vacation, there are lots of great activities for children and teens at the Süd and Brand municipal swimming pools, as well as at the Ulla-Klinger-Halle. Registration is generally not required—just pack your swim gear and pay the regular admission fee.

A special tip is the vacation pass for children and teens: For just 20 euros, they can visit the outdoor pool or one of the city’s indoor swimming pools every day during summer vacation.

All offers at a glance:

South swimming pool

• Finswimming: Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• Playtime: Thursdays from 3 to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 1 to 3 p.m.

Brand indoor swimming pool

• Playtime: Wednesdays from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.
• Baby Playtime: Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m.
• Finswimming: Sundays from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.

In addition, the Hangeweiher outdoor pool features a large slide and several other attractions that ensure plenty of fun in the water.

Please note the opening hours. The Department of Sports would like to point out that the offerings may be adjusted depending on the situation. This may happen if there are too many people at the swimming pools at the same time or if different opening hours apply due to staff shortages.
