Eupener Straße will be open to traffic again starting July 16

The North Rhine-Westphalia State Road Construction Authority (Straßen.NRW) announces that Eupener Straße will be fully open to traffic again starting Thursday, July 16. According to Straßen.NRW, the resurfacing of Federal Highway B57 (Eupener Straße) between the German-Belgian border and the entrance to the city of Aachen—which began on June 29—will be completed as scheduled on the evening of July 15.

Over the next few weeks, the sidewalk and bike path between Duesbergweg and Heidweg will be renovated. In addition, a crossing aid will be installed at the intersection with Duesbergweg to help pedestrians cross the B57. These construction activities may temporarily disrupt traffic on this section of Eupener Straße.
