EU information evening: What you need to know about Europe
Freedom to travel, security, data protection, climate targets, renewable energies, consumer protection and so on: the European Union is intervening more and more in the everyday lives of people in its member states. More than 60 percent of all decisions at local level are influenced by European regulations.
Is it a bureaucratic jungle that is becoming increasingly overgrown, or are clever minds at the EU acting in the interests of the European people? What does it actually mean when we talk about the "Commission", "Council of Ministers" or "Committee of the Regions"?
On Wednesday, January 28, the Europe Direct Aachen Information Center will be offering a lot of vivid information about the EU. The event starts at 7 p.m. at the VHS Aachen, Peterstraße 21-25, room 241.
Free registration for this EU information evening is possible via the homepage https://ogy.de/EU-Infoabend-2026.
