Lecture series "Praymobil from an expert's perspective" at the Suermondt-Ludwig-Museum
Accompanying the current exhibition "Praymobil. Medieval Art in Motion", the Suermondt-Ludwig-Museum is launching the three-part lecture series "Praymobil from an expert's perspective". The series approaches the multi-layered exhibition theme from an art historical, theater studies and psychological perspective.
The series kicks off on Thursday, January 22, at 7 pm. Michael Rief, curator and deputy director of the Suermondt-Ludwig-Museum, will shed light on the phenomenon of medieval art in motion from an art historical perspective. As the originator and curator of "Praymobil", he will provide insights into the development of the exhibition and at the same time look to the future: what new and exciting research questions arise from the exhibition concept?
On Thursday, February 5, the series will continue at 7 p.m. with a lecture by theater scholar Prof. Peter W. Marx from the University of Cologne.
Participation is free of charge, registration is not required.
