"Four in the Couven" with the Chapelle Quartet Aachen
"Vier im Couven" kicks off the 2026 concert year. On Sunday, February 1, the Chapelle Quartet (Philipp Wenger, Katharina Blasel, Martin Hoffmann and Giulia Ajmone-Marsan) will resume the popular chamber music series with a musical journey featuring Ludwig van Beethoven and Robert Schumann.
Another concert with the last works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonin Dvorak is already on the program for Sunday, 14 June. Advance ticket sales have begun.

One of Beethoven's first quartets, a work full of impetuous passion.

In his quartets, Schumann remains entirely classical in form, his great role model being Mendelssohn.

The last of the three "Prussian" quartets, inspired by Mozart's visit to the Prussian king in Potsdam
Antonin Dvorak, Quartet No. 13 in G major op. 106
After his return from America, Dvorak feels highly inspired and writes his last two quartets in quick succession, in which he sums up his entire artistry.
