In the coming week, urgent road safety measures will begin in the Frankenwald nature reserve in Aachen-Kornelimünster. This mainly affects the area near the elementary school in Kornelimünster. Trees will have to be felled as part of the measures.

The footpath along the Inde must be closed during this time and cannot be used. The Forestry Office of the City of Aachen points out that this closure must be observed for safety reasons.
