Discussions at the Yunus Emre Mosque: Mayor Invites Everyone to an Open Exchange
Mayor Dr. Michael Ziemons is continuing his direct dialogue with residents and invites them to a discussion session on Monday, August 31, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Yunus Emre Mosque, located at Stolberger Straße 209.
The event provides an open and accessible setting for personal conversations. The focus is on citizens’ questions, concerns, ideas, and perspectives. All interested residents of Aachen are cordially invited to ask questions and engage in conversation with one another.
“A strong sense of community thrives on our coming together, listening to one another, and keeping the dialogue open. That is exactly what I want to foster. I look forward to the gatherings at the Yunus Emre Mosque and to an open exchange with the local community,” says the mayor.
The event at the Yunus Emre Mosque is deliberately being held at a place of encounter and social interaction. The mosque serves as a venue for open dialogue. Everyone is welcome—regardless of age, background, or religion.
Registration is not required. The event is part of the mayor’s dialogue and engagement initiatives. Through these in-person meetings, Dr. Ziemons aims to strengthen direct contact with the citizens of Aachen and bring together different perspectives.
