As part of the "Haaren clever mobil" project, the town has received funding to improve pedestrian traffic in Haaren. This is to include, for example, a barrier-free circular route with a total length of 2.1 kilometers through the center of Haaren. The newly designed parks will be included in this circular route. A cross-connection will also make it possible to create a route half as long. Low-barrier crossing options are planned at all intersections and junctions as well as further selective improvements to the footpaths.

The administration will present the current plans for the accessible walking trail in Haaren on Wednesday, May 6, from 4 to 6 p.m. during a neighborhood walk. District Mayor Daniel Hecker will also be in attendance. Participants can ask questions and share their own ideas during the walk. The meeting and starting point is the market square in Haaren.

The event is aimed at everyone who walks in Haaren, whether with or without aids. All interested parties are cordially invited.
