The grid operator Regionetz is expected to expand and reinforce the electricity grid at the Bismarckstraße/Oppenhoffallee junction from Monday, April 27, 2026. According to Regionetz, the planned work will take around four weeks.

During the construction period, Bismarckstraße behind the junction of Oppenhoffallee/ Goerdelerstraße will become a one-way street in the direction of Drimbornstraße. Anyone coming from Drimbornstraße will only be able to drive along Bismarckstraße as far as house number 162. After that, the roadworks area will be closed.

Pedestrians will temporarily use a construction site traffic light at Kurfürstenstraße to cross Oppenhoffallee. There will be no public parking spaces along the construction sites.
