From September 15, Regionetz will be laying house connections for the new "Bastei" building on the corner of Krefelder Straße and Ludwigsallee. The work is expected to take around three weeks.

For the duration of the civil engineering works, motor vehicle traffic on Krefelder Straße will be routed past the roadworks in a different way than usual. If you are coming from Würselen and want to turn right into Ludwigsallee at Bastei, you will have to continue straight on from the junction with Soerser Weg and will be guided past the roadworks.

Traffic wishing to drive straight ahead at the Bastei junction towards Sandkaulstraße or turn left onto Monheimsallee will be diverted via a lane of Krefelder Straße and Rolandstraße that is open in the opposite direction.

There are also restrictions for traffic coming from the city center out of town due to the changed traffic routing: Between the "Bastei" junction and the Rolandstraße junction, only one lane will be available out of town. After that, one straight ahead lane (in the direction of Würselen) and one left turn lane (in the direction of Soerser Weg) will be marked.

The changed traffic routing will be signposted. Pedestrians and cyclists will be guided safely past the roadworks.
