The German Weather Service is issuing a warning for the period up to midday on Tuesday: After some heavy thunderstorms with occasional heavy rainfall on Monday evening, rain will move in from the southwest after midnight, sometimes interspersed with thunderstorms. This precipitation will spread northwards as it progresses. Within a few hours, 30 to 60 liters per square metre of precipitation may fall. Up to 90 liters per square meter in combination with thunderstorms or heavy thunderstorms cannot be ruled out.
