The Barockfabrik and the associations and institutions based there open their doors and give an impression of what is happening in Aachen's local cultural scene. At the big summer festival on Saturday, September 20, a varied program awaits both inside the building and outdoors in the inner courtyard from 3 pm.

The Kulturhaus Barockfabrik is run by the City of Aachen and is home to a variety of institutions. In addition to the Stadtpuppenbühne Öcher Schängchen, Löhergraben is also home to the Theaterschule Aachen e.V., the Literaturbüro in der Euregio Maas-Rhein e.V., EuregioKultur e.V., ARTbewegt e.V., FestAusschuss Aachener Karneval e.V. as well as the Volkshochschule and the VERS - Literaturcafé, which are looking forward to welcoming numerous interested visitors to the summer festival. The Literaturcafé will provide refreshments with home-roasted coffee variations, fresh paninis, quiches and home-baked cakes - and of course the outdoor catering will also be open.

The vhs Aachen, the Literaturbüro EMR and the Theaterschule Aachen will be presenting their various offers at market stalls. Visitors can also take a look behind the scenes of the Öcher Schängchen city puppet theater and take part in the "Acting Improvisation" taster course offered by Theaterschule Aachen e. V. At the event organized by ARTbewegt e. V., the Literaturbüro in der Euregio Maas-Rhein e. V. and EuregioKultur e. V. "TANZ + POESIE", reading passages and improvisational dance meet in an artistic-literary dialog. DJ Chris will provide the musical accompaniment to the summer festival program from 6 pm.

Admission to all events is free of charge. The festival takes place in all weathers.
