University in the town hall: "Yesterday's school? We're talking about tomorrow"
Chalkboards are a thing of the past. Our world is changing rapidly - but how can schools keep up? Do we need new learning spaces, more digital opportunities, different forms of teaching? And what does this mean for teachers and pupils?

Education on the move
The discussion comes at just the right time: the new primary school teaching degree course starts at RWTH Aachen University in the winter semester - an important impetus for the training of tomorrow's teachers. The audience will question how schools can become more open, more digital and fairer and what role teachers play in this.
"Uni im Rathaus" has been successfully bringing science and society together for years. The series of events is organized by the Science Office of the City of Aachen and RWTH Aachen University and takes place twice a year.
