Joint effort: City treasury collects unpaid money
As part of a joint operation with the city's public order office, the police and customs, the city treasury was able to collect a total of 3,220 euros last Friday, November 21.
Together with the cooperation partners, the colleagues from the city treasury inspected a total of 76 vehicles, businesses, amusement arcades and kiosks and were able to collect unpaid fines and penalties in three cases.
Together with customs, colleagues from the Enforcement and Investigation Service (VED) seized tobacco in several shisha bars. A faulty gaming machine was found in a gambling hall. The colleagues also discovered minor trade violations and violations of the Youth Protection Act.
The joint operations and inter-agency cooperation are very much welcomed by all those involved and will continue to take place regularly in the future.
