Adenauerallee: Tunnel is closed until November 17

The North Rhine-Westphalia road construction authority (Straßen.NRW) will be inspecting the tunnel on Adenauerallee from Wednesday, November 12 until probably Monday, November 17. The inspection of the structure on the l 260 state road is required every three months, according to Straßen.NRW. The tunnel will be completely closed to motor vehicles until November 17.

Traffic from Adenauerallee and Madrider Ring will be diverted via the side lanes of the tunnel and the junction at Trierer Straße (B258) during the full closure of the tunnel.

During the closure, the traffic lights on Trierer Straße will be adjusted to optimize the flow of traffic at the Trierer Straße junction and reduce congestion, especially at peak times.
