District Mayor Jakob von Thenen and his deputies, Ladislaus Hoffner and Reinhard Plum, thanked the heads of the three municipal elementary school and the board of the Open Children's and Youth Club Space on Wednesday, October 29. The three mayors praised the many years of dedicated work by the schools and the association. They are all an important part of society and it is impossible to imagine the development of children and young people without them. They underlined their thanks with financial support of 400 euros each from the district mayors' funds, which will be made freely available to the elementary school and Space.

Andrea Müller-Müschen (Oberforstbach Community Primary School), Angelika Thier (Walheim Community Primary School) and Silke Ebel (Kornelimünster Catholic Primary School) accepted on behalf of the association. Bernd Krott, 1st Chairman, and Edgar Ortmanns, 2nd Chairman, were delighted with the support for the Open Children's and Youth Club Space Walheim e. V.
