Cell phone parking: Provider refers to fake stickers

The city would like to point out that counterfeit EasyPark stickers on parking ticket machines have now also been discovered in Aachen. The company EasyPark offers cell phone parking in Aachen. It first informed the city about the fake stickers with a QR code back in February 2025. The stickers show a QR code that does not redirect to the EasyPark mobile app, but to a third-party website (see also the attached photos). There, users are asked to enter their credit card details, EasyPark announced.

The surveillance staff of the city's public order service and the technical staff of APAG (Aachener Parkhausgesellschaft) are informed and remove the counterfeit stickers on the parking ticket machines in Aachen as soon as they discover them.

The city asks you to contact the police and the Department of Safety and Order if fake stickers are discovered on parking ticket machines in Aachen. The Department of Safety and Order can be contacted via the following e-mail address: ordnungsamt@mail.aachen.de
