Dear ladies and gentlemen, dear colleagues,

ten teams of pupils will meet on

Thursday, April 3,
from 10 a.m.
in the Super C of RWTH Aachen University, Templergraben 57,

for the local round of the 19th zdi robotics competition.

More than 1,000 children and young people from NRW take part in this competition every year. This makes it one of the largest nationwide Lego robot competitions in Europe. The teams compete against each other in various local and regional competitions to ultimately qualify for the final in Mülheim.

This year, the robots are solving challenges relating to the topic of "tomorrow's nutrition". The participating teams program robots accordingly, which have to master symbolic tasks on a special play mat - for example, transporting algae to a food factory or preparing an insect burger.
