Parking spaces on Ronheider Weg are being renewed
Aachener Stadtbetrieb is having the parking stands at Ronheider Weg 59-81 renewed as part of road maintenance. The work is urgently needed as the asphalt surface course had already broken away in places down to the base course.
In order to repair the surfaces, the entire asphalt structure of 14 centimetres will now be broken up and rebuilt. A base layer of ten centimetres and a wearing course of four centimetres will then be laid. The current work is expected to be completed by Friday, March 21.
In the construction area, a residual lane width of at least 5.50 meters will be maintained so that all road users can continue to use the road and sidewalk area.
Due to the poor condition of the road surface, it is imperative that the road is repaired at this point in time and cannot be postponed. This is the only way to guarantee that road safety is maintained for all road users on Ronheider Weg.
