Warning strike on Wednesday: restrictions in administration

The trade union members of the city administration have once again been called out on warning strike today, Wednesday, March 12. This has affected the entire city administration.

Due to the strike, the central library in Couvenstraße has remained closed. Media can be returned via the outside returns desk. However, the district library in the Talstraße depot is open as planned. The book bus is operating as usual at its current locations.

The majority of daycare centers have remained closed due to the strike, 16 have been operating on a limited basis and one other daycare center is open as normal.

Schwimmhalle Süd and Ulla-Klinger-Halle remained closed due to the warning strike. This also applies to the Elisabethhalle, only school swimming was able to take place there. The Brand indoor swimming pool is open as usual.

The Call Aachen service center can only be reached with severe restrictions throughout the day due to the strike.
