Classical music with the arcadie quartett at the Couven Museum
The arcadie quartett presents waltzes, milonga & co. under the motto "Dream dances for flute quartet". A concert with dances from all over the world and from different centuries for flute quartet on Sunday, June 29, at 5 pm in the Festsaal of the Couven Museum.
Dance suites from the Renaissance and Baroque periods are juxtaposed with Spanish tango and Argentinian milonga, while Romanian dances, collected and elaborated by Bela Bartok, lead on to whimsical goblin and dragon figures by the Slovenian Anze Rozman. There is also a rousing salon waltz when the four Aachen flutists invite you to dance with the entire flute family from piccolo to contrabass flute.
