Around a year after the establishment of parking zone U (Körnerstraße), the city of Aachen is having the current parking situation in the zone and in adjacent streets around Hangeweiher reviewed. The city has commissioned a specialist office to carry out the parking space survey.

This office will be counting parked cars at four different times of day on Tuesday, July 8. They will be counting in the residents' parking zone U as well as in the streets Am Hangeweiher, Hasselholzer Weg between Amsterdamer Ring and the sports field, Hermann-Löns-Allee, Klemensstraße, Limburger Straße and in the parking lot on Hermann-Löns-Allee. Vehicle license plates are registered when the parking situation is checked.

Personal data is processed in accordance with Article 13 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The findings of the parking space survey will be presented to the relevant political bodies after the summer vacation.
