Cool cultural enjoyment: free admission to the city's museums in hot weather
Anyone looking for protection from the heat in view of the current temperatures and also wanting to cool off culturally can do so in the city's museums: When the outside temperature exceeds 30 degrees, citizens can visit all municipal museums and facilities on the Route Charlemange free of charge during opening hours to cool off.
The Centre Charlemagne, Suermondt-Ludwig-Museum and Ludwig Forum museums are recommended at the top of the list. All three have air conditioning, although not in all rooms in the case of the Ludwig Forum.
