Forest cemetery and Lintert cemetery still closed

The forest cemetery and the Lintert cemetery are expected to remain closed to visitors until the end of January. Road safety is not guaranteed due to the numerous acute storm damages and broken branches and snow, especially on conifers. The tree maintenance department of Aachener Stadtbetrieb is on site with three teams to gradually repair the damage.

However, due to the amount of damage caused in recent weeks to all municipal playgrounds and sports fields, day-care centers, schools and cemeteries, this will take a few more days.
