EU information evening: Who actually does what in Europe?

European Parliament, internal market, consumer protection, European Green Deal, climate protection, digital sovereignty and so on: the European Union is intervening more and more in the everyday lives of its citizens. More than 60 percent of all decisions at local level are influenced by European regulations.
On Wednesday, January 29, the Europe Direct Aachen Information Center will be offering a wealth of vivid information about the EU. The event starts at 7 p.m. at the VHS Aachen, Peterstraße 21-25, room 241.
Is it a bureaucratic jungle that is becoming increasingly overgrown, or do clever minds at the EU act in the interests of Europe's citizens? What does it actually mean when we talk about the "Commission", "Council of Ministers" or "Committee of the Regions"?

Free registration for this EU information evening is possible via the homepage https://ogy.de/EU-Infoabend-2025.
