Four local political meetings are scheduled for the coming week. Among other things, the district election committee for the 2025 federal election will be meeting.

Tuesday, January 21,
The facility management committee meets at 5 p.m. in the administration building at Marschiertor (meeting room 170). Three key topics are on the agenda: the 2025 business plan for building management, a status report on cleaning management and further oral project reports.

Wednesday, January 22
The meeting of the Integration Council begins at 5 p.m. in the Council Chamber of Aachen City Hall. The agenda includes a presentation of the association "Internationale Muslimische Studierendenunion - IMSU e. V. Aachen", a review of the event for the NRW State Integration Council campaign "Mehr als du siehst" and a presentation of the prevention program "Wegweiser in der Region Aachen".

Thursday, 23 January
The meeting of the planning committee will also take place in the council meeting room at 5 pm. In the planning committee, politicians will deal with the following points, among others: the new version of the City of Aachen's parking space statutes, the construction of a new equipment building for the volunteer fire department in Aachen-Richterich, including a rescue station, and the "AACHEN Kompass" planning tool.

Friday, 24. January
The district electoral committee for the 2025 Bundestag election will mainly focus on the approval of the submitted district election proposals for constituency 86 - Aachen I from 11.30 a.m. in the council meeting room.
