"Families in Focus" online this time: Meeting the challenges of everyday family life with resilience!
The third event in the "Families in Focus" series addresses a situation that affects many families. There are many challenges that can put a strain on everyday family life. These can include financial worries, conflicts in the partnership, separation, problems at work or in the relationship with the children. The demands parents place on themselves and social pressure also have a stressful effect on parents.
When several factors come together, the emotional strain is particularly high. As resilience develops and changes throughout life, everyone can actively do something to strengthen it. Resilience, i.e. the ability to deal with internal and external stress, helps people to cope with stress. There are various things you can do to strengthen it.
The online event on Thursday, January 23, from 7.30 to 9.30 p.m. aims to provide some inspiration in this regard. Please register at überfamilenbildung@invia-aachen.de. The link to the online webinar will be sent to you a few days in advance. Places are limited.
"Families in Focus" is a new series of events organized by the "Family-Friendly City of Science" working group (AG) on family issues, in which some of these issues are specifically addressed in lectures and concrete solutions and tips for families are provided.
Further dates, topics and content will be added regularly and published at www.aachen.de/familienfokus. The lecture series is open to all families and single parents. All events are free of charge.
