Warning strike on Wednesday: restrictions in administration
The Call Aachen service center will only be available to a very limited extent from 1 pm. Operations will have to be suspended from 4 p.m. due to the warning strike.
The union members of the city administration have been called out on warning strike again today, February 19. According to the union, this warning strike will be widespread. The union therefore expects major strike-related restrictions throughout the administration on this day. The Eilendorf district office will remain closed today. Childcare cannot be guaranteed in the municipal daycare centers and open all-day schools (OGS) either. Waste collection services may also be canceled. The exact extent of the impact of the strike cannot be predicted.
The Schwimmhalle Süd and the Ulla-Klinger-Halle will remain closed today due to the warning strike. The Elisabethhalle is closed to visitors today due to a cleaning day. School swimming will also not take place. The Brand indoor swimming pool is open as usual.
The City of Aachen asks for your understanding in advance if areas and facilities on strike are not open on the day without prior notice or can only operate to a limited extent.
