U18 election in the city library: young people vote in the Bundestag election
Aachen City Library as a polling station for young people: As part of the U18 federal election, children and young people under the age of 18 once again have the opportunity to cast their vote in the city library and actively participate in shaping political opinion.
The U18 election follows the same principle as the official federal election for adults. Children and young people throughout Germany take part in it to show their political preferences.
A public computer with the Wahl-O-Mat from the Federal Agency for Civic Education is available in the City Library to help them make their choice.
The polling station in Aachen City Library (Couvenstraße 15, 52062 Aachen) is open from Friday, February 7 to Friday, February 14. The opening hours are:
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- Thursday: 12 - 19 o'clock
- Saturday: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
All interested children and young people are invited to cast their vote and actively experience democracy.
