"Families in focus": "Healthy and quick family cuisine"
At the fourth event in the "Families in Focus" series, the "Healthy and Quick Family Cuisine" cooking course for parents in the university canteen on Pontwall will be really tasty: on Wednesday, February 19, fathers and mothers can not only learn interesting facts about healthy eating, but also cook for themselves.
Preparing healthy meals for the family can be a challenge at a time when many people are juggling busy schedules. It is often assumed that fast food is necessarily unhealthy. But the opposite is true: with the right ingredients and creative recipes, you can conjure up a balanced and tasty meal in a hurry. The course is aimed at families who want a varied and conscious diet to promote not only physical health, but also satisfaction when eating together.
The chefs from the Mensa show how it's done
The cooking event starts at 7 p.m. in the Mensa Academica, Pontwall 3, 52062 Aachen, and offers practical tips and inspiration. Sahra Groteclaes and Daniel Wahlen from Studierendenwerk Aachen will show participants how to prepare healthy dishes quickly and easily. From hearty porridge variations and nutritious breakfast ideas to quick oven dishes, there is something for everyone.
The course is free of charge, the number of participants is limited to 12 people. The Studierendenwerk Aachen accepts registrations by email: carmen.reiss-frings@stw.rwth-aachen.de
