Püngelerstraße: City informs about its ideas for a redesign
The city of Aachen will transform Püngelerstraße south of Alte Vaalser Straße into a traffic-calmed area up to its end in the cul-de-sac following the sewer and pipeline work by Regionetz. Designated parking spaces and new green areas are to be created in this section. The roadway and sidewalks need to be adapted and redesigned as they no longer meet current standards.
The administration is providing information about the current plans for the redesign of this area online in a presentation set to music. This can be found at www.aachen.de/puengelerstrasse from Friday, August 22. Printed copies of the plans are available in the Marschiertor administration building at Lagerhausstraße 20. The administration building is open Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 5.30 pm and on Fridays until 2.30 pm.
Residents can submit comments, suggestions and remarks on the current planning of Püngelerstraße south of Alte Vaalser Straße in writing by Friday, September 5, in two ways: via the letterbox in the foyer of the Marschiertor administration building, Lagerhausstraße 20, or by email to puengeler@mail.aachen.de.
