For safety reasons, parts of the non-swimmers' pool, the entire paddling pool and parts of the sunbathing lawn around the non-swimmers' and paddling pools at the Hangeweiher outdoor pool must be closed until further notice. The reason for this is urgent, unforeseen tree work. Preparations for the work are already underway. The city will inform you as soon as the areas can be safely reopened.

Opening hours and restrictions

The regular opening hours of the outdoor pool and indoor swimming pools can be found at www.aachen.de/schwimmen. However, due to the ongoing tense staffing situation in Aachen's swimming pools, the municipal sports department asks all bathers to check the city of Aachen's sports portal at www.aachen.de/sport before visiting the outdoor pool or one of the indoor swimming pools to ensure that there are no restrictions or closures in the respective pools.
