Eligible voters in Aachen who would like to vote by post in the local elections can already apply for postal voting documents. The online postal voting portal can be found at aachen.de/briefwahlantrag. Postal voting applications can be submitted there until September 10, 11:59 pm. In addition, applications can be submitted informally by email to wahlen@mail.aachen.de or by post to the electoral office at Blücherplatz, stating your first and last name, address, date of birth and any different postal address. The electoral office will send out the requested postal voting documents from August 18.

Also from August 18, citizens can vote directly on site at the electoral office at Blücherplatz or at the respective district offices. The electoral office will then be open with extended opening hours from Monday to Friday.
