On Monday, April 28, 2025, the municipal website www.aachen.de will be temporarily unavailable in the morning due to system work.

The background to this is that aachen.de will not only go online on Monday with a new design and new structure. The entire technical infrastructure of the site has been completely overhauled and is now on a new system. The site will therefore have to be temporarily switched off during the transfer.

In addition to a modern and appealing look, both on mobile devices and on desktop PCs, the new aachen.de will provide a tidy page structure - tailored to the topics of urban society and the users of the website - as well as a new internal search function.

Discover the new aachen.de: browse through "Experience Aachen", click through the calendar of events - from home or on the move. The calendar will initially start with events organized by the administration and those in public spaces, but will be expanded over the coming months so that external parties will also be able to enter their own dates in future.

All services provided by the City of Aachen can still be found at the usual location in the service portal of the City of Aachen at serviceportal.aachen.de.
