On Saturday, November 2, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Aachener Stadtbetrieb is once again offering the popular toy exchange.

Children can bring toys that they no longer play with and swap them for another toy. Toy swapping is not just about ensuring that the children's room doesn't overflow, but above all about reuse and sustainability. "As long as one child can give their toy to another, or swap it for another toy, sustainability is ensured," explains Anne Lehnen from the waste management department of the municipal authority. "It's always better to reuse things. That way, resources can be conserved." It is not necessary to register for the swap. Anyone who would like to take part in the swap can simply bring their toys to the Elisenbrunnen. Cuddly toys are excluded for hygienic reasons.
