Hansemannplatz: Bus lane on Peterstraße to be renovated
The city is having the bus lane leading into the city on Peterstraße directly at Hansemannplatz repaired. The construction work will begin in the second week of the fall vacations on October 21 and is expected to last up to five days. The bus stop there in the direction of the bus station will not be served during the short construction period. It will be closed without replacement. ASEAG asks its passengers to use the bus stops at the bus station on Peterstraße instead.
All bus traffic from Jülicher Straße and Heinrichsallee will be diverted via the normal lane of Peterstraße in the direction of the bus station. The traffic lights at Hansemannplatz from Heinrichsallee into Peterstraße will be changed so that buses and cars do not get in each other's way when turning left. On Jülicher Straße, buses will merge into the straight ahead lane for private motorized traffic from the junction with Robensstraße.
