Three times a week: running in the forest stadium with lighting
Soon it will be time to lace up your running shoes again for fall and winter! Every Monday and Friday from 4.30 p.m. to 8 p.m., the training lighting system at Aachen's Waldstadion will be switched on. In addition, the Waldstadion will continue to open its doors on Sundays between 1pm and 5pm. As of Friday, October 4, all running enthusiasts can once again run three times a week in Aachen's Waldstadion.
The offers will not take place on All Saints' Day, Thursday, November 1, and during the Christmas period from December 23, 2024 to January 5, 2025. The "Running in the Waldstadion with lighting" offer on Mondays and Fridays will end on Monday, March 31, 2025. The Sunday offer will remain in place beyond this date.
And: The City of Aachen expressly draws attention to the fact that the changing rooms and showers in the stadium are not open for liability reasons and that there is no training supervisor. The city is not liable for accidents that occur while using the stadium.
