Opening of the new Turmstrasse bridge
After years of preparation and an intensive construction period, the new construction of the Turmstrasse bridge is now almost complete. Numerous city administration employees from various departments have contributed to the successful implementation of this major project. With the new Turmstrasse bridge, Aachen has a modern and safe route that is tailored to the needs of users.
The new Turmstraße bridge will be officially opened to all road users on Wednesday, October 9, at noon.
"A major project such as the construction of this new bridge is not part of our day-to-day business and we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved for their commitment and dedication to this project," says Indra Balsam, Operations Manager of Aachener Stadtbetrieb.
