Guided tours of the farm for children at Aachener Stadtbetrieb
The farm tours for children with Tonne Berta at Aachener Stadtbetriebs are very popular. Appointments can already be booked for next year. The tour is offered as part of the waste education program and is aimed particularly at kindergarten and primary school children. The waste advisors from the municipal company playfully impart interesting facts about waste separation, waste avoidance and recycling. At the end, the children can take a closer look at a garbage truck and even take a seat in the driver's cab.
A maximum group size of 15 children is recommended. Larger groups are also accepted on request. The guided tours are offered from March to October inclusive and last around one hour. The offer is free of charge for all day-care centers and elementary school in the city of Aachen. If you are interested, you can make an appointment by calling 0241/432-18604 or sending an e-mail to Stefanie.Tollkamp@mail.aachen.de.
