The artist Tim Berresheim will open the newly designed display case in the city library at Couvenstraße 15 on Wednesday, November 27, at 5 p.m., giving an insight into the project "New strength from old roots".

Tim Berresheim has been working on this project for months in intensive workshops with three Aachen schools (Grundschule am Fischmarkt, Kaiser-Karls-Gymnasium and VHS Aachen College). Under his guidance, the young participants have found creative ways to merge analog and digital art. The main focus was and still is on young people's engagement with their immediate surroundings. Some of the works created in the project are presented in the showcase. The showcase also provides an interesting insight into the artistic process and the creation of the individual works.

Heinrich Brötz, Aachen's Alderman for Education, Youth and Culture, Doris Reinwald, Director of the City Library, and the artist Tim Berresheim will speak at the opening.
