The water pipes in the cemeteries are turned off

The employees of Aachen's municipal services are making the municipal cemeteries ready for winter. In this context, the water pipes will be turned off there in the coming week. These are so-called summer pipes, which are not frost-proof. The same applies to the water columns, which could be damaged by the frost. In spring, when the temperatures rise again, the pipes will be reopened.
