Chordophone X at the speGTRa Festival
The Chordophon X concert on Sunday, November 17, at 5 pm in the Auferstehungskirche am Kupferofen has always been an integral part of the speGTRa festival. The CX project ensemble with guitarists from Aachen and the region will take center stage.
The 48 performers are a cross-generational group of music students from the HfMT Cologne as well as professional musicians, many of whom work as teachers at the city of Aachen's music school. In addition to the renowned jazz singer Sara Decker, the Caleidon Vokalensemble, Rada Geffroy and the NRW Mandolin Ensemble, Hanna Gründer and members of the Lunet recorder ensemble, a string quintet from the Aachen Symphony Orchestra, Vadin Shishkin and Harald Ingenhag (percussion), Henrique Almeida and other well-known soloists will be performing. The conductor is Csaba Székely.
Chordophon X has been taking place for 12 years in cooperation with the music school of the city of Aachen.
