Handover of the Light of Peace from Bethlehem in Aachen Town Hall

Next Monday, December 16, at 5 p.m. in the White Hall of Aachen City Hall, the scouts will once again hand over the Light of Peace from Bethlehem to Lord Mayor Sibylle Keupen.

After a welcoming address, the Lord Mayor passes the Peace Light on to invited guests, including the members of the Dialogue of Religions working group, as well as to interested citizens of Aachen.

The Light of Peace campaign in the diocese of Aachen is a joint campaign of the Girl Scouts of St. George (PSG), the Protestant Association of Christian Scouts (VCP) and the German Scout Association of St. George (DPSG). The motto of this year's campaign is "Living diversity - shaping the future".
